The scope of the project

Overhaul/service and recertification of 14 pcs. piston accumulators, and 14 pcs. backup bottles, including 4 pcs. of skid in which the accumulators wew mounted.

Work task

• Overhaul/service and recertification of 14 pcs. piston accumulators, and 14 pcs. backup bottles, including 4 pcs. of skid in which the accumulators wew mounted.
• On some of the skis, fluidwas also to be changed from Brayco to Oceanic (special requirements for cleaning)
• All accumulators and backup bottles were dismanteled, overhauled/recertified according to HyCom`s procedures
• After re-certification, the bottles were reset in their respective skis.
• On the skid, all pipes and fittings and other equipment were dirmantled, pressure tested, flushed and reset.
• All manometers hace been calibrated. All “Block and Bleed” valves (relief valves) have been overhauled, cleaned and pressure tested
• Finally, a leak test was performed on the finished skis, and these wew prepared for return to the customer

Challenges and solutions

Finding the food and right solutions is something HyCom spend a lot of time on at all times. For projects like this, we are confident in the woek we do and how it is performes. All equipment used in pressure tests etc. is always taken care of by frequent checks and calibration of the equipment.
