OTD Energy 2024 took place at Sotra Arena on October 16-17, and we at HyCom were present to connect with both old and new partners.

This fair is important to us, and Tore Andreassen, our workshop coordinator, explains why:

– Today we are here to meet customers and suppliers, to showcase what we do in our daily work and our profession, says Tore.

He adds what makes the event valuable for us:

– We meet people from other companies, discuss the projects they’re working on, and connect with both new customers and suppliers who have entered the market. We also strengthen the relationships we already have, he explains.

Why OTD Energy is important for us at HyCom

Staying up-to-date is crucial, and Tore highlights the significance of events like this:

– There is much more happening than we realize, and that’s why it’s essential to stay updated, he explains.

We also presented a small HPU, demonstrating the equipment we have and what we can produce based on customer needs. Thomas Andre Østerbø, responsible for design and development, showcased the model and emphasized the importance of flexibility:

– It’s important for us to demonstrate that we can build HPUs tailored to exactly what the customer needs, says Thomas.

Once again, we participated this year to ensure we remain visible and relevant in the market. This gives us a fantastic opportunity to meet new customers and explore possibilities for future collaborations.
